Make a solid ?

How do you make a solid from a polyline in AutoCAD 2006 ? There is no Dashboard and you cannot use the Keyboard command "convtosolid". Where do i go. !!!

To make a solid in 2006 u have to have a closed polyline and then extrude it, that the only way and no there is no " convtosolid" in 2006
that is why i like 2008 more
