I accidentally over wrote my drawing with a blank one. I see that the back up file is still there. How do I recover my drawing from this back-up file? confused

You can recover it by renaming the .bak to .dwg if u not seeing it u have to turn on show file extension on xp ,u can find that option in the option dialog box in windows explorer.

Could we at least get a set range of length for the yacht?
This is so we can be judged based on aesthetics and not size

The height of the yacht would be limited by the shape and depth of the hull if you wanna get technical and realistic about it.

One more thing: is it a racing yacht or a cruising yacht?

For instance
(All from wikipedia)

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yacht

Regular yacht lengths
start at 32–35 feet (10–11 m)

Mega yachts (sail or power)
above 100' or 34 m

Super yachts refer to
over 200' or 70 m

This size is small in relation to typical cruise liners and oil tankers.
I vote for the mega yachts

Check this little info on classification of sailing yachts its about my question on type of yacht
