Machine Part for module 1

I am doing over the practice exersizes in module 1 and I just can't seem to figure out how to create the small object for the machine part.I know you have to draw to circles respectively then extrude them to the desired height, but do you have to subtract them frist before you create the box to intersect the both objects? and what iare the dimensions for that box? because when i tried it, it is not coming out the way it should. To mirror copy is easy, I just want to know how you did it so I can complete the drawing. And also can you explain the Taper command a little more with an example to a real drawning problem? Thanks

I REMEMBER IT THAT U HAVE TO SUBTRACT THE HOLES FROM THE OBJECT.ALSO THE OBJECT IS A COMBINATION OF A RECTANGLE(1 x .5) WITH A HEIGHT OF .5 WITH HALE OF A CYLINDER.

THE TAPER COMMAND IS M0RE LIKE GIVING A CHAMFER IN A WAY TO AND OBJECT
AT THE BOTTOM OF THE SLANT IS WHAT U CALL YOUR BASE ANGLE AND MUST BE YOUR FIRST POINT.THE SECOND POINT YOU CLICK IS IN THE DIRECTION OF THAT SAID SLANT.EG OF THIS MAY BE ROOFS OR WEDGES OR EVEN IN SOME CEILING DESIGN. HOPE THIS HELP IN SOME WAY.
